I am reaching out to share the story of my God-daughter, Peaches, an 11-year-old remarkable child who embodies creativity, intelligence, and wisdom despite enduring unimaginable hardships. Peaches comes from an impoverished, abusive, and violent background, facing neglect and bullying from both children and adults in her community. Her biological mother, who is a product of incest and rape, suffers from severe health complications and mental health issues that often leave her hospitalized and unable to care for Peaches.

I met Peaches in July 2023 when she was just 9 years old. Tragically, on her 10th birthday, she was molested by her uncle (her father's brother). After she bravely confided in me about this horrific event during a church service in August 2023, I took immediate action, resulting in his arrest and prosecution. He is currently serving time in prison for his crimes.

Despite my efforts to protect Peaches, her life took a turn for the worse following this traumatic event. She has frequently been bullied by children and their parents in the neighborhood. She often appears neglected, wearing the same clothes, or clothes that are too small, too big, or dirty. Her hair is matted, and she is left unkempt, making her an easy target for judgment and harmful rumors. The community's lack of understanding and compassion has led to Peaches being targeted and bullied, as she has no one in the neighborhood to defend her. This vulnerability makes her an easy scapegoat for the frustrations of others in this violent and impoverished environment.

Due to her tumultuous childhood, environment, and the aftermath of the abuse, Peaches has struggled with severe depression, low self-esteem, anger issues, and has even attempted suicide multiple times.

Recently, on June 22, 2025, Peaches' house was broken into by four neighborhood children who physically assaulted her, punching her in the stomach, head, and face, all while one child recorded the incident. Just days before this attack, a 7th grader pulled a gun on her and aimed it directly at her face while she was playing outside her home. This is not the first time Peaches has been targeted by multiple children, and I cannot stand by and let her life continue down this painful path.

I am now preparing to gain full custody of Peaches, and I am also fighting for full custody of my niece, who has suffered from abuse and neglect as well. I have sought help from several organizations and reported these incidents to the Department of Child Services (DCS), Child Protective Services (CPS), the police, and the leasing agent, but I need your support to make a lasting change.

How You Can Help

I am calling on compassionate individuals to look within their hearts and consider donating to help me gain full custody of Peaches, continue my fight for my niece, and support the work I do in the community. I minister to the youth every Saturday and Sunday, and I create, organize, and fund FREE events that promote positivity among the youth in the Black community.

Your contributions will directly assist in securing a stable and loving environment for Peaches and my niece, as well as support the initiatives that uplift and empower the youth in our community.

Thank you for considering a donation to this vital cause. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these children and help foster a brighter future for our community.
